Our Story

A proper local, since long before it was fashionable

Tucked into 257 Rotherhithe Street, The Blacksmiths Arms has been pulling pints and plating up honest food for well over two centuries. These days that means a genuine fusion menu — our famous London Pride battered fish & chips sitting comfortably alongside a proper Thai green curry.

Friday nights bring live music into the bar, and on a warm evening the secret garden out the back is the best-kept seat in Rotherhithe.
